Healthcare in this great country is a big complete mess, and that's the cold bitter truth. With a Republican President in office, HMOs seem like the only real option and people are getting robbed of their money having to pay thousands among thousands of dollars for Health Insurance coverage and their much-needed medications. HMOs or The Health Maintenance Organization Act, is a U.S. federal law that was enacted under President Richard Nixon in December of 1973. So basically if you have what they like to call, preexisting conditions, or neurological problems, psychiatrical health issues, or physical disabilities, you cannot be helped; you have to pay it all out of pocket, and even better, the insurance companies like Farmers or Allstate get to sit on a mountain of cash while charging excessive fees for pretty much any excuse they deem necessary.
